As with any breeding program there are puppies that are companion prospects and not show dogs. So occasionally we have puppies that can be sold with a limited AKC registration. This means they are not to be bred or shown in conformation competition. This certainly does not limit their ability to be a devoted, loving member of the family and it does not inhibit any traits or personality that make the Boston Terrier so special.
